Lol don't you ever watch documentaries or other educational programmes?
Also, if there wasn't the T.V there would still be the internet, or do you think that is a distraction too?
So how much did people know about foreign places 100 years ago? Hardly anything.

Microsoft made a bold move by making Windows Phone 7 Series a non multitasking mobile operating system. Had they chosen to support full multitasking they would have had a quick one up on Apple's iPhone OS and some users might have chosen to lean in their direction. Now with the announcement of the exclusion of multitasking from the OS I fear that most if not all prosumer customers will bypass the initial release not only because the name is incredibly horrible but because it lacks the features they need. Thoughts?

“Help with panic attacks” is a very common plea. The most important thing to remember when seeking help with panic attacks is that you are not alone. Get the help you need today.

"Hate cockroaches? Best pour yourself a stiff drink. The widely loathed insects can hold their breath to save water, a new study has found – and the trick could help them to thrive in the face of climate change. When cockroaches are resting, they periodically stop breathing for as long as 40 minutes, though why they do so has been unclear. To investigate the mystery, Natalie Schimpf and her colleagues at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, examined whether speckled cockroaches (Nauphoeta cinerea) change their breathing pattern in response to changes in carbon dioxide or oxygen concentration, or humidity. They conclude that cockroaches close the spiracles through which they breathe primarily to save water. In dry environments the insects took shorter breaths than in moist conditions. "Cockroaches lose water across their respiratory surfaces when they breathe," says Schimpf, "so taking shorter breaths in dry conditions reduces the amount of water they will lose.""

make note card and stick to them. Seriously -- I had this problem. I tried to finish preparing my presentation as far in advance as possible. Then I would make the note cards and rehearse the presentation. Make the point on the card then move on to the next card. The first couple of presentations I did like this I ended up rehearsing so many times that I memorized the entire presentation. When I got up there my memory just took over. I said exactly what I had rehearsed.

Best tip of all of course is to be over prepared.

isnt this like, common sense?
lol Im choosing to give examples instead of defining these....

a visual distraction would be the fat ladies ass crack that sticks out in the cubicle to your left...

noise would be the guy that can't stop farting and sniffling in the cubicle to your right...

defining these should be easy unless your brain has like..a metal pole going through it, or something of that nature, have a good one!

From the page: "To ensure a healthy body and a clear, calm, and tranquil mind, we must establish a healthy and balanced breathing pattern. "
