Teach relaxation skills that they would be able to use during a test. You can teach them to take a few deep breaths, take a break to calm down, etc. Also, help them go into the test confident.
I myself am a student and i can tell you right now that all you need to do is give them some tips on studying and little point outs on what “might” but you know “is” on the test and just let them know, that this is just a simple test and you have confidence that they will pass. Let them know that they have plenty of time and that you have confidence in them cause just having them feel the positivity from your confidence will make them confident themselves
Before the exam, let’s say a day or so ahead, throw some questions at them and they’ll answer it. Before they actually take the exam, remind them of how well they did and how much they really know the material. Try some relaxations methods. If they’re stuck on a question, tell them to use process of elimination and they’ll be able to narrow it down to at least 50/50.
plenty of rest (sleep)
