How do I help my son with test anxiety?

My nine year old is an A student (and very much a perfectionists) but when it comes to his times test that has to be done in 36 seconds he freezes. He knows all the answers but stresses so much over worring about not getting done in time that he's 2 weeks behind and stressed. I've tried everything I can think of-any suggestions?

How can you help a child overcome test anxiety?

My 11 year-old does alright on daily work but when she tests she freezes up and does poorly. I know she understands because we work on it together at home and when we review a failed test she says "oh yeah I knew that." It's driving me crazy because her daily work grades are A's and B's but after figuring in the failing test scores, she is barely passing.

My students are all over 18 and trying for their GED. I can't help them during tests, and they perform well under their ability when it comes to test time.
